Lassi

Is there anything better than a refreshing glass of Lassi this Diwali? Lassi is perhaps the most famous of all desi drinks. Lassi is a Punjabi drink, was first created in Punjab, but has since become an international favorite, served at all Indian restaurants, no matter where you’re in the world. 

Lassi is basically a special type of butter milk, with a distinct flavor and smooth texture. It consists of spices such as cardamom, and dry fruits and chopped nuts. Sweet lassi, mint lassi, mango lassi, banana lassi are among the most popular variations of Lassi.

Jaljeera

Diwali is when you forget about dieting and indulge yourself – after all, who can resist the appeal of the incredibly tasty and sumptuous Diwali sweets and snacks?
